Raimei's First Visit

Tonight me, my mom and my dad went to a long time neighbor's house (she's moved away from us now) for dinner. We took Raimei with us because she has been a cat lover for years and has always had cats. Her cat of 18 years recently had to be put down due to kidney failure and I knew she would love to see Raimei. So anyway we visited tonight and Raimei did very well. It was so funny because me and my mom walked through the front door with our hands full with Raimei's toy box, his blanket his dangley string, him in his pet carrier and a litter box haha! Our neighbor laughed and laughed. Raimei wasn't certain about the whole thing at first. he got his little foot stuck in his harness because it's still a little big for him even though it's adjusted to the smallest length. However, after about 10 minutes he was just fine and he even curled up in a chair and went to sleep! I'm sure Raimei will be going on another trip very soon!

A Rather Sad Morning

As of about an hour ago my 14 year old Labrador Annie is no longer living. She was acting very pitiful this morning and she's been acting like she's in pain a lot lately. So, my dad took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with regenerative arthritis which is common in Labradors and large breed dogs. however, it was for the best because the vet said she would only get worse and things would become unbearable for her. So knowing this I'm glad she was put down today because I would hate to see her suffer and she's been such a good dog for so long. I'll try to go look for a picture of her after our house showing today and post a little tribute to her.

In happier news Raimei helped 'clean' the house all morning this morning haha! It was so cute the way he followed me and mom around to every single room. I'll have pictures of him too later.

Lots of Pictures

Raimei has had a fun day today. He got to watch outside all day long. I spent most of the afternoon today detailing my car and I'll be posting some pictures of that tomorrow! I wanted to take Raimei outside but we got out the door today and he got really really nervous so we came back inside. Also as an added bonus you not only get to see Raimei sitting in the sun and watching outside but also pictures of the beautiful weeping cherry tree in my backyard.

Such a Cutie

First of all I apologize for videoing right into the light. It's kind of hard to see a couple times in this and Raimei looks like some of his fur is missing haha! Anyway, it's nothing real special he's just being a sweetheart and he's never gotten in the window sill before! I think he was having fun exploring that!

Get It Raimei!

OMG! This was so cute! I apologize because this video is kind of hard to watch because I am moving the camera around a lot but Raimei was chasing his ball around like a dog would! First he was chasing it down the hallway but then he kept chasing it down the stairs. He would hit it down there himself and then run after it. Then I threw it down there so that he would go chase it again. He did this probably 5 times and he had fun doing this last night too. The balls are definitely his new favorite toy. He lost 3 in the house and I found them the other day when I was cleaning!

Finally!

Well, I've finally managed to get all my work done that's been taking up my time. Got my research paper done and I'm turning it in tonight! So, now I am really hoping I can get some good pictures and video of Raimei. Yesterday I gave him a bath and my mom took some pictures of him. He looks like a little rat when he's all wet. I'll try to post them after work today.

Raimei's Vet Visit

Raimei is definitely growing! He now weighs 1.6 pounds and his fur is starting to get silky rather than fuzzy. it was funny at the vet because she went to give Raimei his last kitten booster and she couldn't find his skin at first for all the hair haha! Me and Raimei have been shopping on Nike again....it's a good thing I was broke for a while after my surgery haha! But now OMG! They have some really great stuff on their website! Okay...on that note I'm going to finish shopping for my mom's mother's day gifts...on Nike...

Asleep in the Camera Bag

While I was typing my research paper tonight Raimei got inside my camera bag and decided he was going to take a nap. It was very cute! He stayed in the bag for at least an hour...I think he finally realized he was stuck in the bag and I had to pull him out.

Whiskas Temtations Treats

And now for my "commercial" for Whiskas Temptations Treats haha! Raimei is so crazy about these treats! I swear I think I could get him to do absolutely anything for these haha! Raimei likes the the seafood medley flavor but there are I think 7 flavors they come in: beef, chicken, salmon, turkey, dairy, hairball control and seafood medley. kijjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj Oh okay Raimei just decided to walk across the keyboard and express how much he likes these treats. And now he's sitting on my wireless mouse...guess I'm not using my mouse anymore haha! I went to the grovery store the other day and bought Raimei 10 pouches of these treats because they were on sale for just 1 dollar!

Raimei and his Facination with the Desk

Ugh....I'm off work sick today...again! It's no fun but at least I have a doctor's appointment later this month. It makes me mad because I can't work out, I can't go out for walks and all I feel like doing is laying around. Maybe it will be gone by later this week. However, I do have new pictures of Raimei! I am going to try and shoot some video later today if I'm up to it. I have to recharge on of my camera batteries so maybe I can do that later too. Right now Raimei is playing with a pencil haha! He thinks they are so much fun! He found it on my computer desk a couple days ago and he meowed until I gave it to him and he's been batting it around ever since. And speaking of computer desk....here are some really cute pictures of him hiding in the slots of the desk. It's so funny when he gets on the desk and starts exploring because he gets in these compartments and just curls up or turns around or finds his tail and starts playing with it. There's also a picture of him on my mom's lap. He looked so cute!
